Drake himself has made millions off beefs, subs, and personal shots at other rappers, so it’s hard to paint him as a victim in the same way you would view an employee being undermined by their boss. In rap, the company isn’t one entity with loyalty to the artist… labels, media, and streaming platforms amplify drama because that’s literally how the genre sells, and everyone involved knows that going in. If Drake is now suing because things went “too far,” he’s essentially asking the same machine he’s benefited from to suddenly draw a moral line in the sand just for him.
