Drake is 38. Kendrick will be 38 in 6 months. Is this bad for rap?

I'll go to my grave believing that the swift deaths of JuiceWorld/X/Pop will go down as one of the most consequential moments in rap history. The next generation of superstars got snuffed out. I'm not sure things go from here because I hope people realize that once the "deluxe" comes out and the tour ends...Kendrick is going back into his hole to enjoy life lol. Cole about to retire. And Drake is seemingly about to go on a classic decline. Bad news for rap.

Dudes coming up behind them simply didn’t have the juice like that. I know people will instantly talk about Pop Smoke, Juice World, and XXXtentacion, but those dudes weren’t nearly what people that they were, but got very elevated due to their death. And don’t even get me started on “the next Lil Wayne” aka Lil Baby.

We been ended that cap on age back in 06. As long as you aren’t physically incapable of doting something, alls fair game. Even in sports, superstars are having longer careers

You were just calling nikkas idiots lacking critical thinking skills and all types of shyt for believing that leaked Kendrick Superbowl list/audio was real.

2nd or 3rd time you tried to act like you have industry connects to be proven wrong within days, damn near hours sometimes lol.

Please stop this fake shyt.

Uzi was bigger than all of them

look at him now
No he wasn't. Nikkas really underestimate how big X was and how much bigger he was about to become. And he'll the nikka had 4 billion streams just last year

Again breh Juice Wrld just got added to Fortnite and this nikka been dead for 6 years. You think he was a random pick?:mjlol:

21 and Lil Baby COULD step up if they really wanted to. And Southern Rappers like KRIT just have completely abdicated their position.

Where is Wale?

Where is Big Sean?

I really dont get it. They all really just gave up

I mean Wiz is about to score a home run with his new project…I can tell….he’s gearing up with his freestyles…but who else?!

The Drill Era was a REAL problem….cause if these artists didn’t die…they’re rotting in jail. Fani Willis just ended the ATL wave and the ATL underground didn’t take the chance to grab the wheel.

It’s BAD out here.

Not true. "Dead rappers get better promotion" is a myth, and the reality is it's actually very unlikely that an artist maintains popularity after their death. X and Juice's huge streaming numbers are far from a common occurrence. X was breaking streaming records before he died

As long as the quality of music is good the age of an artist should not matter.

The next generation is too busy worrying about looking like a rapper instead of becoming great at the craft.
