ON MY 3RD LISTEN, AND I HAD TO HIT CAPS LOCK FOR THIS

DRIZZY JUST DROPPED A CLASSIC, BEST ALBUM OF THIS NEW GENERATION OF ARTISTS, MAYBE IN THE LAST 10 YEARS

DEFINITION OF FEEL GOOD MUSIC, SO PURE, SO FUTURISTIC :wow:

HE FINALLY TOPPED SO FAR GONE SONICALLY

That feeling when you've been waiting for months for it to be released, love all of the promo tracks, finally get the album, then don't like it after two and a bit songs.

Too Much is the only good track, devastated wtf man. Even that sounded better live.

Let me start by saying im not really a fan of drakes music. But this is one of the years biggest releases so im trying to give an honest review. Off 1st listen im not really feeling this too tough. I wanted to hear drake go in and all I get is another album full of singing. Dude can rap and I was hoping he would just say fukk it and go in on a few tracks but to me he didn't. Even on a track like come thru (which I enjoyed) he switched it up on the 2nd half of the track with all the singing and shyt. Album felt like he was trying to do too much. Just rap nikka

He already said he would NEVER release a album of just rapping. He has the skillset to diversify his sound so why limit himself to one category? If you were listening to this expecting straight bars you were already starting off with unrealistic expectations. Drizzy makes good music not just good rap

After a couple of spins here's my first thoughts...

The album is pretty solid.

The sound of the album is a lot darker than his other albums, but the lyrical content is a lot lighter. He's :cape: on most songs...which for the most part he use to leave to the songs in which he's singing. I couple of lines on the album just had me :merchant:

"Next time we fukk/ I don't wanna fukk/ I wanna make loOoOoOove" :noah:

"She just wanna run over my feelings like she's drinking and driving in a 18 wheeler/ and I'd allow her...talk about p*ssy power" :what:

The biggest complaint I have with the album is there aren't a lot of standout tracks, they all seem to have the same vibe to it. If you played the album front to back without looking at the track listing you probably wouldn't be able to tell where one song ends and where the next 1 begins.

Not a drake fan. But I must say that after listening to this album it's very clear....dude is still a singy song no substance in his music having pop artist ...just a bunch of insecurity laced bars and boring verses and hooks. Very uninspired effort IMO.
Really no substance ??? So what you mean Is your a drake hater ? He gives very open looks into the life of a young successful guy trying to find happiness , be it with woman or family or friends . I guess on the coli since everyone is rich , only fukks dimes and got those Certs they can't relate . The nicca raps about his family growing apart due to his fame , his mom And being old and alone , trying to find a mate when your busy and well known , his life when he was growiing up .
I mean this is the same shyt Kanye did without the ghost writers giving him deep songs so he can pretend to care or writing songs about anti-commercialism while selling 150$ tshirts.
What is the knot acceptable subject matter in rap being broke or a game member?
