him suing the label is a weird play and I actually think he intended to lose this suit but only did it because he had to show he wasn’t willing to tolerate just sitting back with that narrative swirling.

I think he knew he wasn’t going to win this but he had to find the smallest angle to sue without suing kendrick AND indicating that he was willing to do it.

Theres a bevy of legal strategies out there designed merely to just signal an unwillingness to permit certain things to go unchallenged or unchecked.

The case was and will be dismissed. Thats not even a “loss”. It’s more of a “DQ”. Remember, theres three outcomes: Win, Loss, N/A. He’s getting an N/A and fighting to a stalemate that he can defend and say he put up a fight against a serious narrative.

Heres a counter point: If Drake was being called name and corny, he could tolerate that. Theres some things that go into a territory you can’t just “disappear” on.
