This convo goes better when yall admit yall want him to just be cool with being labeled what he feels he shouldn’t be labeled as and is willing to fight over.

Gaslighting for effect is what amateurs do.

You: “criminal charges!”
Me: “???”
You: “stop gaslighting”

you talk and think like a hoe

Yeah the only reason Not Like Us and the pedo allegations hit so hard was because there’s hella shyt out there that support the claims. Kendrick didnt just decide to make those allegations outta thin air. Evidence been swirling on the net beneath the surface for years.

If Drake woulda called Kenny a pedo, it woulda came and went since there’s nothing to back those claims
Nah it hit so hard because there’s statistically more losers, bitter people, guys who didn’t make the team, didn’t get the girl, who were waiting for the guy at the top to be taken down.

It’s the energy in the world these days. A lot of people are team loser. Angry at anyone with what they don’t have.

Kendrick was a useful idiot. The Pulitzer winning lyricist spent a year rapping about Drake and wearing little costumes for him in an election year. We can make the connection or not but today’s the first time in 35 years there’s not a single hip hop song on the billboard top 40.

So we absolving Drake of entering the battle and bringing the shyt up on his own accord?

It ain't like Drake went into hiding or anything, breh dropped like 40 songs since the beef and the Party album and nothing stuck for him.

I'm kind of surprised the lawsuit being tossed wasn't a bigger story
So many people were acting like this lawsuit was going be some industry shaking event that officially exposed the behind the scenes manipulation people have been murmuring about for decades and Drake was going to be awarded millions in damages :mjlol:

shyt the only way that would of happened is if Drake fell on his own sword and listed out everything UMG did for him and how they boosted him as well.

He did it a lil bit with saying that he went to UMG to stop Push from dropping or pushing Adidon, but he ain't about to air out bot shyt that helped him cause he's about his numbers and don't give a fukk how they come.

You can’t argue backwards, only forwards. If he feels he wants to combat that narrative then you can’t tell him to be content with said narrative. This is what I keep pointing out. Yall really want someone to OK with that

Your argument makes no sense. If it was of such paramount important to combat the narrative he shouldn't have raised it first in a rap diss, while telling Kendrick to bring it up. The judge literally cited it as one (of many) reason to dismiss the case. If it was that important he should have handled it smarter and better. Instead he botched it and the outcome was losing a rap battle AND a legal battle.

The whole “let me pre-empt” this tactic is a high wire act that failed. But he wasn’t dumb enough to not expect Kendrick to try it.

Look, I wouldn’t have done it or been bold enough to even think to try it but… we’re here now. Yall are not arguing forward.

There is no forward. The case got dismissed and the appeal will be dismissed. I'm sure he will spend more money on this because it's clear he cannot let it go but effectively this is over. All we can do is analyze where he failed. And the start of that conversation is Taylor Made.
