Oh I'm most definitely an online nerd. Even my girl clowns me for it.
But Im not the online nerd in the sense of not having the ears to comprehend why Drake and Kanye resonates more than Royce 59 and Ras Kass. I also enjoy music in public places and shyt lol
Why can you and @CrimsonTider accept that some people have a less than flattering opinion of this album? If you wanna go at the cats attacking Drake's character in regards to this album then I understand. But if an African aint feeling this joint then he just not felling it. There's absolutely no reason to go at everybody's neck who simply doesn't agree with you. Instead of looking like a fan, you looking like a fukkin' fool with all the capin'. I get it. Drake is your favorite artist, but he's not above dropping some trash. Hov and Nas are my favs of all time and I didn't like Holy Grail or Life is Good.
The only thing to take away from this album is the production. But that's not the only reason why I listen to music.

The songs are great. The lyrics are personal. The vibes are evolved.
There's nothing to hate on here. Dudes want some sort of lyrical miracle shyt need to go bump Royce or something.
Drake is making music. Y'all out here amping up weak efforts from mediocre rappers instead of ingesting actual sonic progression.

Anyways it still stands after 3 plays, his weakest album. Nothing really moves me except the vintage spitter Drake (Views, Weston etc) and some good pop songs that I could play at any pre party or bbq etc (controlla and one dance).
This is his BP2, trying to make music for everyone. A lot of songs that everyone can enjoy. But that's a problem, cause there's only about 8-9 songs for each person, which means that we have 11-12 "fillers" for everyone. And it makes the album hard to play, and I'm an album person.

No one is saying that you can't like those things. I'm just telling you that I don't think any of those things were good. You got mad and tried to defend the lack of subject matter and lyrical ability and saying the shyt doesn't matter.

Instead of maybe lookin and taking their reasoning into consideration. You dont have to change your own personal feelings about the album by taking someone else's into consideration
