A seven game stretch during the best season of his career by a mile with Klay Thompson is your argument? :dead:
So suddenly Klay Thompson is an ultra-elite superstar who should get to the WCF by himself? I thought the coli said Klay was a b-side who can't do anything but shoot?

Y'all shot straight from "Dray is just an average role player on a stacked team" to "doesn't count if Klay is there, too much help!"

the same people who always preach about the importance of "watching games rather than boxscores" and "the actual impact of players on the outcome of the game" and how players today are all about "stat-padding", are hating on Draymond because of stats :martin:
shytty posters are usually the most stat-obsessed, it's just the only stats they know are ppg and triple-doubles.

Big Wallace
Jason Kidd (at times)

Dray is up there
Jason Kidd is actually one of the best comps for Draymond, Kidd even had a lot of all-star seasons where his stats weren't any better than Draymond's 4-year peak. Though Kidd had to score more as a guard (at the same shytty efficiency) while Dray impacts the defense more as a big.

carl landry was never a good/willing passer, and was a limited defender.

but sure, he would eclipse draymond "in every way". great argument man.
His rebounding argument was dumb too, Dray would get more boards if he played closer to the basket on offense and want being used on the perimeter so much.

I'm all for appreciating Steph Curry.

but Steph Curry isn't the main reason the Warriors are a top 5 defensive team right now.

Together they are driving the Warriors success, despite pieces around them being poor fits/inconsistent. Doesn't mean Draymond is as valuable as a superstar, obviously, but his impact is undeniable. Well unless you're the coli and hate the guy.
Steph is the main engine behind the offense

Dray is the main engine behind the defense...and offense bc he's a top 3 playmaker

i dont see why that has ppl in their feelings

and yes, Goon is a hall of famer

You’re a casual and it’s ok.. Tell me when Webber had a triple double without scoring a single point.. Dray is a hall of famer mayne not first ballot but his importance to the team, his impact and his 3 rings says otherwise..
Act like Chris Webber wouldn't have three rings playing with Steph, Klay and KD, brehs. :laff:

You're serious though. :dwillhuh:

Bro literally dominates games without stuffing the most important box score stats for what he does.

You got numerous threads talking about dude sucks, he belongs in the G League, ect.

The Warriors didn't start winning games until Draymond came back :mjlol:

As soon as Stay was back out there with Steph the team looked complety different than without him.

bytch ass nikkas, listen here. 1 job to do ass role players don't DOMINATE games outside of great rebounding.

NOBODY in the NBA can do what Draymond does and y'all nikkas are lame as fukk for constantly hating on dude.

Let me simplify my point real quick

If you put Draymond on any of the top 10 teams in the NBA, they would be a championship contender :yeshrug:

These Gentrified New Golden State Warrior Fans in here don't know shyt about Basketball, As a 44 year old Warriors fan who been watching The Warrior's since Sleepy Floyd Days The Warrior's 2021 Thread is pathetic with their takes, constant bytching and crying when we winning games

Well that is his peak season so it's worth discussing and that 7 game stretch consists of two playoff series. And now Klay Thompson is too good to fit your criteria? It only counts if he's on a roster full of G leaguers? :dwillhuh:

Draymond averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 3 blocks against the Blazers in the second round of the playoffs. He was better than Klay in that series and was the reason the Warriors were in position to make it to the conference finals without Curry.
You're talking about seven games FIVE years ago. Dray was amazing that season, which was by far his peak. Steph also came back in game four of the Blazers series to save the day. :dwillhuh:

When you said nobody can do what he does, I was gonna say you're wrong. But you might have a point. Because a lot of guys get those one on ones and get wide eyed and immediately go into attack mode. Dray stays patient when he gets 1 on 1 and still makes the right pass. A lot of guys don't have that. His bball iq and read/react is second to none. The only player who can do what he does is Rondo but he's a guard. Maybe Bron but he has too much of a scorers mentality( Can't blame him either). Same with Bam, he gets those 1 on 1 matchups and attacks. Dray is very patient waiting for the right cut or angle to attack you.

This is where you guys go overboard. In no way, shape or form is Draymond a Hall of Famer. Not even close.

Chris Webber isn't in the Hall and eight people so far dapped this nonsense.
He's a DPOY with 3 rings. I don't like him like that but he's in the Hall.

As seen below. Like I said before, Carl Landry was a better offensive rebounder than Draymond at both their peaks. You put Carl Landry on the Warriors with Steph and Klay he's eclipsing Donkey from Shrek in every way. Mediocre to average players benefit with playing with the number one and number two pure shooters of all time. Y'all are easily conned by players and posters with big mouths and big personalities but little brains. Lots of frivolous words but no content. There are 100s of Non-Allstar/ average players in NBA history that if you replace Draymond with they would do better if not the same.

Draymond's peak statistically was in 2005 - 2006

You're caught up in scoring/offensive rebounds and completely ignoring how Draymond absolutely destroys him in passing, ballhandling, and defense. I can't even completely call it box score watching cuz it's right there in the assist, steals and blocks #s too and you just looked clean past it
