that doesnt add up when he's talking about anxiety, etc...

but I dont know the man...so :yeshrug:

He doesn't like performing, that's pretty straight forward. Sending somebody a verse that he never has to recite again once or twice a year, is not the same as having to create, promote, and tour a body of work.
Outkast had the best run of any hip hop duo ever, if he want's to pack it up after that, I ain't mad at him.

I wish he didn't , but hey :manny:

I think one more album would be enough, I think it would just give the fans closure. They both still can and do rap and produce beats, why not do it together once more? ONP and Goodie Mob are still available to collab with. Do it before it's too late.

Nobody who speaks about Prodigy as an elite MC is putting HNIC, Return of the Mac, or any of his other solos among the ranks of Illmatic, Ready To Die, Reasonable Doubt, Paid In Full, or Me Against The World. Not even are they mentioned among It Was Written, Life After Death, Follow The Leader, or All Eyez On Me.

Nobody puts Ghostface in a GOAT convo because he has a solo catalog. It is because he has a CLASSIC solo album to his credit in Supreme Clientele. Bizzy has solo albums, but rarely does he get mentioned among elite MC's which is my point. A solo catalog is irrelevant. Its all about the quality of the work.
\Ghostface is mentioned by people in top 10s and etc. despite Supremem clientelle not being in the ranks of those albums you mentioned either. No one compares SC to Illmatic, MATW, RTD either.

so that whole "it needs to be compared to illmatic" "prodigy doesnt have albums like..."is such silly rebuttals cause neither is SC you done already contradicted yourself :mjlol:

People have put Supreme Clientele in that echelon of albums though. That's not a contradiction.

no they dont nor is it lauded as those albums are.

you spent all this time talking about "well those albums arent as praised or compared to illmatic" but SC is not that type of album either

"Holy Grail of rap albums" and "all time Hip Hop classic" puts Supreme Clientele in that sphere.

any type of classic can be called those things as they serve as notable albums during a certain time or era that doesnt mean its in the illmatic sphere

plus basing your assumption of whats there just as Vibe is flawed and pretty stupid.

but ill play your little game, lets look at the Rolling stones recent list of BS

10. Lauryn Hill, 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'
15. Public Enemy, 'It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back'
17. Kanye West, 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'
19. Kendrick Lamar, 'To Pimp a Butterfly'
22. The Notorious B.I.G., 'Ready to Die'
27. Wu-Tang Clan, 'Enter the Wu-Tang(36 Chambers)'
28. Dr. Dre, 'The Chronic'
43. A Tribe Called Quest, 'The Low End Theory'
44. Nas, 'Illmatic'
49. OutKast, 'Aquemini'
50. Jay-Z, 'The Blueprint'
61. Eric B. & Rakim, 'Paid In Full'
64. OutKast, 'Stankonia'
67. Jay-Z, 'Reasonable Doubt'
70. N.W.A, 'Straight Outta Compton'
74. Kanye West, 'The College Dropout'
93. Missy “Misdemeanor” Elliott, 'Supa Dupa Fly'
95. Drake, 'Take Care'

No Ghostface SC, now RS means jack shyt to me. But im posting this to prove and to repeat what i said

you have some who prolly hold SC up there with illmatic, etc. But most dont. SC is seen as a classic. but hardly is anyone holding that to illmatic rank

and whether its these magazines or the fans, most dont hold it up to illmatic, RTD, Matw, rank

What you posted doesn't disprove what I said though. You said nobody held Supreme Clientele in that high of regard and I'm telling you they do:

I didn't move goal posts. Saying an album is a "holy grail of rap albums" is beyond calling it classic and yes that is putting it up there with Illmatic because people love to apply that title to Illmatic.

And him not wanting to perform old stuff makes sense, he was constantly changing and evolving as a human being, that’s evident based on the music he was apart of. He’s 40 something why would he want to be performing stuff he made as a youngin
What other artist in any other genre of music act like that?

Good music is timeless. You think Billy Joel or Bruce Springsteen talking about nah I can't preform my classics?

It’s not about him being a hip hop artist it’s a reflection of how he is as a person

Good music is timeless but when you change as a person you never want to look back on how you used to be

Especially how much 3K was changing throughout OutKast reign
