I've had three cars in my life.

1. BMW 3-series
2. Porsche Cayman
3. Audi A3 Sportback

The BMW was by far the most expensive to maintain. The Porsche was solid as a rock until the engine blew up.
I've had the Audi since Jan 2016 and so far I've only had one issue with a warning light.

Had a Chrysler for 10 years and had no major problems with it at all. I bought a ‘13 Chevy in ‘14 and it’s still going with no problems.. Hope it stays that way lol

I had a camry for 12 years, no issues at all. Regular oil changes, changed the tires, thats about it. But I only drove it for liek 55k miles also so nothing crazy.

Toyota, Scion and Lexus are all made by the same company, all at the bottom of the list.. Lexus cost more to manufacture

Honda makes Acura, why are they opposite ends of the spectrum and its the same set up as Lexus/Toyota?

after your house and bed, a car is another item of pride and dignity as you spend a great amount in time in it. but basically buy what you can afford...

if you cant buy 5 of them you cant afford one.....

Depends on the person. I never took pride in things that lack longevity and depreciate. I see guys that walk into stores looking like bums, driving older model cars and trucks (fully paid off), pulling out stacks and driving back to million dollar homes.


It's more of an introverted versus extroverted thing. I've never been the flashy type. I like the big investments.
