they COULD be using the handsfree earphone+mic option, but if your phone doesn't have bluetooth and you don't know how to operate it, you might as well just hang up.

Seen a couple people in some newer cars with them in, so I'm just gonna assume it's to talk on the phone with.

if they have a newer car they could bluetooth the entire phone into the sound system, take calls and listen to music

this and people who try to sneak use their phone while they are driving make me crazy

everything a distraction though, its not hard to talk and drive at the same time

i get more pissed when i see people txting, eating putting on makeup, or generally just not paying attention to the road.
