If you don't think self-driving cars are going to have a 99.9% success rate, in 100 years from now, you're delusional.
Just think of how primitive techology was in 1919, that's how primitive we gonna look to muphukas in 2119. Technology is evolving at an exponential rate.

the self driving car got into an accident with itself driving on a mountain, windy road. Computers can't simulate human control or reaction.
if you really think technology is going to solve all of societal "driving" ills, you need to reevaluate. Technology is evolving but it will never be a 100% success rate - that's fantasy thinking. I mean look at social media - the avg person is not doing such a bang up job with that. (pun unintended). There is no such thing as a 100% fail safe. For every positive there's a negative, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction (Newtons Law) - they taught us that in high school physics.
