If you don't think self-driving cars are going to have a 99.9% success rate, in 100 years from now, you're delusional.

Just think of how primitive techology was in 1919, that's how primitive we gonna look to muphukas in 2119. Technology is evolving at an exponential rate.

Same. My ex coworker owned a Honda Civic and a Tahoe. She would drive the civic to save gas. She got into an accident in the civic on the way to work and is now a quadriplegic. Life probably would have gone a different way if she had decided to drive the Tahoe that day:francis:

I stay in a crossover. I won't drive anything that isn't that or a truck. I got in a head on collision last year where the other driver swerved in my lane because he was high. It totaled my vehicle. Not a scratch on me.

It’s a skill to notice a crazy/drunk driver and get away from them. You see a lot of crazy drivers in the DC area, I immediately get away from them.

Last summer I was on 16th Street downtown early morning and the light turned green, instead of hitting the gas and pulling off fast like a lot of people do....I waited for half a sec and took off slowly. At that moment a driver ran the red light at the intersection going like 70.

Later that day I heard they crashed into somebody :francis:

So basically you contradicted your own statement :francis:

There wouldn't be 100 of all automated vehicles on the road, so it wouldn't be safe

- How about when there's bad weather like a snowstorm or rainstorm? Sensors are faulty as fukk when that happens
- How about pedestrian traffic, which is literally the most random occurrence possible, how would the cars be able to avoid it in a split second the way humans can? So you want pedestrians to were sensors to so the cars can recognize them?
- How about if there's construction on the road, how can the cars accurately swerve around it?
- How about if a sensor is fukked up in a school zone, and it runs over hundreds of children

It's all cool until some real shyt happens :yeshrug:

Pretty sure we are in agreement. I am saying even if it was mandated that all vehicles were robots and not controlled by humans there would still be accidents and tragedies due to malfunction and error...

However I believe there would be much less death on the road and would be very small percentage of error.

That being said the likelohood we would ever get to 100 percent self driven vehicles isn't happening in our lifetime

I feel terrible for the woman that died and her family...

That can happen to anyone your stuck in a standstill and you don't even see some Jack ass in a truck about to end your life.

Maybe you might get lucky and catch it .com ing in the mirror but in a standstill how much opportunity do you have to get out of the way...

This is angering...her family can't even get an open casket funeral and it was all mostly out of her control.

I stay looking at crash videos... shyt helps with your awareness when driving.

- don’t be in the fast lane when traffic is moving fast and bumper to bumper...there’s always stopped traffic in that lane and you WILL rear end somebody and get rear ended

-pause one second and look both ways quickly before going into an intersection on a green...dazed drivers run reds all the time

-don’t over correct if someone merged into your lane unexpectedly...you lose control and fuk your shyt up with them usually suffering no damage and driving on

-keep checking that rear view on highways, with stopped traffic, at intersections....most of the bad shyt comes from behind.

RIP to the innocent woman and 1000 deaths to that puta truck driver

2 years ago me and my girlfriend got rear ended by this redneck. We were in an exit lane that was backed up with traffic. And
This girl was going about 30-40 mph when she rammed into us. :gucci:
- had us slam into the barrier on the side of the road, and spin us 180 degrees
- we were in a honda civic, but thankfully we were ok. That dumb chick got out, talking about she dont know what happened :gucci::pacspit:

People in a 3rd world country would pull out the driver of the Silverado and whoop his ass. The people on the scene shouldve done the same.
Most people ddidnt see the crash. All they saw was the aftermath and helped who they thought they could. They just a person in need. Even the few who saw that the truck plowed into the other dont know what happened to cause it. I pulled a guy out of a car that ran a light and hit several cars. Turns out he passed out behind the wheel because he had a heart attack. Some accidents are just that, accidents. And accidents dont always require someone to be punished. Health issues that occur and cause one should be exempt from justice if it isnt negligent.
