Siva, Burke, and Jones are the same people?:why:

Burke is undersized scoring pg. Coming out of high school, Burke was ranked as a borderline top-100 high school prospect (but not even top 15 in his position).

Siva is undersized athletic pg. Not very skilled. He stayed 4 years in college.

Tyus Jones is undersized pure pg. He was ranked 4th high school player in the nation. Well known in the high school circuit since he was in the 8th grade.

They're not the same at all.

exactly...and jones is 6'1" 190 which is actually very good size for a pure point rather than a combo or scoring guard. He compares very favorably to conley in size and playing style. Dudes in here don't know what they're talking about.

cuz all 3 of em are the same people. i wanna know what you thought of those 2 and what makes em so different from jones..especially burke.
Siva was athletic but passing and shooting skills were always sub par in my opinion. Burke shot too much and has weak lateral movement, but can pass and score with the long arms and tight handle, but he's still small and shoots too much.

Tyus is bigger than both and a better shooter than both.

This is why the NBA age limit needs to go up to 20.

Guys who have no chance to contribute are entering the draft on "potential"...where they either sit on the end of a contender's bench or play big-time garbage minutes for some shytty team trying to tank.

There are like 1-2 teenagers a year, tops, who can help a team win right away. All these young kids are taking roster spots away from proven guys who can actually play right now, and 2/3 of them end up flaming out because they're not ready yet...even though they might have been if they'd stayed in school to develop and mature a bit, not to mention actually learn something about life in college.

Meanwhile, college ball sucks like hot garbage. 2 of the 3 best teams this year were just a bunch of high school seniors playing together for the first time. Shooting sucks, team play sucks, skill level sucks, and no one with any talent sticks around to develop into a star.

Seems like decades ago that major talents like Shaq, Hakeem, DWade, Iverson, Baron Davis, Chauncey, Duncan, etc. were all waiting until they turned 20 to come out. Heck, Duncan was 22 and Robinson was 24...seemed to work out just fine for their careers.

Stop hatin' breh. There's a lot of old marginal players that will simply be replaced by young marginal players.

Stick won't get any higher than it is now unless he hits a growth spurt so he's making the right choice

There are a lot of guys who could end up being better than marginal players if they developed, but they come out too early, either don't get drafted or get drafted late by a team that never invests in them, and end up flaming out of basketball without ever getting a chance to become the player they could have been. Not to mention not having a degree or alternate career path at that point either.

Staying in college at least 2-3 years just works out better for everyone involved most of the time, especially the player. Jumping out early because your "stock" is high when you're only going to improve as a player is silly and short-sighted.

How many early entries never even touched the league last year?

Dude balled out but I don't think he's NBA ready. He's small and frail. My prediction is that he'll be a journeyman for a few years than find his way around the 4th or 5th year which by then he would have been a senior

So what? A lotta 'ifs' and' woulda-coulda-shoulda'. Nothing is guaranteed. Life is a risk. Give me liberty or give me death.

I gotta disagree. He balled out in most of their biggest games and one must strike while the iron is hot.

If Tyus Jones makes the sweet sixteen next year...He would be a second rounder....You have to get that Guaranteed money....:salute: To the Big Homie...We Deed It!!!:lawd:

He moves like D Rose, I see him putting 20+ up next year

:mjlol: As retarded as slug brain is, he was a physical freak. Tyus Jones is just a very smart player that played well in big games. He's gonna be be trash in the NBA. At best I see him being like a DJ Augustin or something
