Nah, smartphones are good, it's the addiction to social media that's the problem. I love having a miniature computer/GPS/mobile bank account/restaurant,store,ticket apps/etc on me.

not to mention a virtual wallet. I love that feature.

It’s actually not. Not in the literal sense. They have teams of people getting paid millions to tap into the human brain and what your stimulae are…and we have other things to do so we don’t have the time to actively combat all these things.

Also they have the biggest advantage ever, especially for gen z and younger, bc that age group has never NOT lived on their phone. So they can access you directly. In your home.

Anyway…yea, it’s a little more complicated than ‘it’s just self control’
