do you backup your dvd's?

Gargoyles.S01.DSNP.WEBRip.AAC2.0.x264-AJP69

Some of them. I stopped a while ago. My physicals are fine, but something tells me to get 2nds especially for the renaissance/collectors era of the future...and just in case I accidentally sit on one lol

OP the comment below is exactly why......people are not informed enough to know if the upgrade is worth it

Wtf is the point of uhd. They can’t scale blue ray to 4K or is that an upgraded off shoot of blue ray? I’m confused

Yes and naming it blu-ray instead of adopting the "HD DVD" name from toshiba made it harder
people still type "blue ray dvd" to this day.

DVD doesn't really suck, with better camera sensors, better encoding, double layer disc, the video looks decent.

and the players last hella long, i have players from 2004 that will play home burnt and Hollywood DVDs smooth as butter.

they've been complaints about BD players not playing BD discs for years due to the DRM (but will play DVD), recently Samsung players are bricking due to SSL certificate.

for some titles, the BD is even cheaper than the DVD

UHD - Sony didn't even have them in PS4. They're averaging 4-5% sales after 5 years, studios are under pressure to add HDR to every release, Disney isn't releasing catalog titles on the format, no porn have dropped on the format, high prices.

King remains King.
