This is what I was getting at in a thread before that was bushed. Why would someone like Bron be seen as The GOAT in 30 years when he’s been playing for 20 years and the majority of people STILL don’t feel he’s the greatest. If anything your generation would be the most inclined to champion you. Ali still holds, Ruth still holds, Jordan still holds & now Brady holds

Abdul is forgotten because his prime was before the boom and most remember him as being Magic sidekick. MJ is not only the GOAT basketball player who’s popularity transcended America but he has built a brand from everything from shoes to fukking memes. STD Wade is the one who will be forgotten since he’s only claim to fame is getting ho’d/carried by Lebron and having a trans son who was probably molested by his white male sitter

Forgot to add, all of these guys in goat discussion and all the yrs that have passed since MJ played, MJ's highlights have stood the test of time. Nobody is matching his highlight reel. His highlights make him look like an alien from another planet

I'm not even a Jordan fan like that. I will tell you its no way possible. The reason is because the sneaker game. That brand is solely driven by the fact of Jordans on court greatness. I don't see that brand losing steam anytime soon at all even after we long gone.
