:what:

Ferry isn't a great GM, but he is a good GM who got rid of ALOTTA bad contracts within a week on the job (Marvin Williams, Joe Johnson) & set us up to completely change the roster going into this year. Your Knicks would LOVE to have half our cap flexibility

To Do What With?

All Hate Aside What Good Is Your Cap Flexibility When You Cant Flex It?

Seriously I Could Care Less How Freely You Guys Can Spend, Who Are You Gonna Spend It On?

Its totallly dfiferent the Nets do not get much coverage at all in NYC,in LA the Lakers are by far the biggest story
Maybe not on ESPN, but they get covered on the FAN. Plus they don't really have a superstar on the team yet.

I could see Howard there if the Rockets can pull off a s/t with asik and maybe Thomas Robinson to the Hawks for his pal Josh Smith.

“When Dwight has a private meeting with Mitch Kupchak, I don’t know who the source would be… other than Mitch Kupchak," said Van Gundy. "My guess is Mitch is not the source and Dwight is not the source

I don't disagree with you but still I question Dwight's health, dude has constant back issues and while he plays through them. I'm know the Lakers are gonna want Lopez, Marshon, and all our draft picks this year and next year (whatever the case may be). Plus we gotta tie ourselves to Dwight for 3 years, when we are already in some cap trouble. I like dude but the asking price is too high and I don't think the gap between Brook (who has upside) and Dwight is large enough. Furthermore I question Dwights heart. What we really need is just a better coach, we got the roster more or less.

lopez
19.4pts 7.4reb 1.5ast 1.7blk 78%ft 58%fg

d12
17.1pts 12.9reb 1.5ast 2.2blk 49%ft 57%fg

brook best yr vs dwight worst -and its damn near equal
(and i aint even gonna bring up what they do defensively... shyt not even in th same galaxy)

as far money goes... brooklyn would gain twice as more bringing in a superstar
once we took on joe jo contract & gave wallace 40 mill -money cant be an issue these nikkaz couldnt draw flies it they wanted too

BTW
da lakers dont even want lopez... the only way we can get him is in a 3 team trade!

1.he did tell otis smith to trade him to us
and otis smith made the trade & told dwight himself to was headed to brooklyn -then their dikkhead owner said NO!!! stop the trade & bascially told the magic CEO alex martins to do anything to keep dwight, even if u have to lie & blackmail him

2.again its so easy for anybody to say he shouldnt have opted in -when he knew he was gonna recieve hate mail; death threats, jersey getting burned & all the hate in the world from fans & media -just like bron recieved months prior (unfortunately for him -opting in didnt matter... he still got all those things -cause orlando org )

3.deron could have waited -but decided to go with 'bum azz' gerald wallace & 'just an avg joe' johnson

4.billy king should have never allow this fukkery to happen -he should have either never traded for deron knowing dwill was a surly hard to satisfy type
or billy should have said fukk it & got picks in a sign n traded for deron to the mavs -and flipped picks w/our pick for harden

5.i dont need to defend him... you & the rest of his haters will see next yr and beyond
and 3 yrs from now D12 will be doing big things
while we'll be getting bounce in the 1st round

The reason LeBron got the shyt he got was because he didn't tell Cleveland he was leaving and broke their hearts on national television.

All Dwight had to do was be upfront and say "I loved my time in Orlando but its time for me to move on and I feel the nets are my best option. Thank you to the fans and the ownership for everything"

Would he get some shyt in Orlando yea, but it wouldn't have been near the levels LeBron got. That's a weak excuse for his actions last year, he held all the chips with Billy King and he folded and ran from the table like a bytch so the 500 people who show up to magic games would like him for 3 more months.

He may find a nice home in Houston, but he is not capable of handling the NY fans and media.

So Brook can't get any better, even though he made a huge step on offense and made himself into an above average rim defender this season?

And Dwight is all of a sudden gonna just snap back into his 2009 self next season.
You may not have faith in our center, but I do. I'm not tapping his potential out 5 years into his career while Dwight gets a free pass that he can be the same guy he was before the back surgery.

Dwight is the most overrated, over talked about player in the league. This soft ass dude needs to kick rocks back to ATL so he can be with the rest of the fukk boys.

Let him go Mitch.
