You really expected him to beat one of the best teams in the league with Morris and Goudelock as his starting backcourt? :wtf:

This is the kind of bullshyt that made Dwight leave. Kobe gets credit for all of the wins while Dwight and company are blamed for the losses.

not even one game though? Kobe won 2 games against a 1 seed with Luke Walton, Smush Parker, and Kwame Brown starting...no excuses:ld:

Dwight couldn't have expected to come in and within one season taking over the spotlight from a top ten player in NBA history who is still playing at a high level. This wasn't like the Kobe and Shaq situation where Shaq had clearly lost a step and you know Kobe could be trusted as the franchise player. Kobe was still playing at a championship level when Dwight came. But this is a moot point cause if Dwight wanted to go back to the Lakers and have more responsibility he could have did that with Kobe possibly missing part of the season or at least being hindered during the first part of the year.

Kobe has lost a step. 05 Kobe on that squad last year wins 50+ games even with all the injuries. Dwight hadn't earned "the man" status yet, period. If Dwight was out there putting up Shaq numbers/impact things prolly woulda been different.
