He is to Kobe, what Kareem is to MJ.
Great bigs are constantly disrespected.
Except Kobe and Duncan are from the same era while Mike and Kareem aren't. It's no disrespect to Kareem to say that Mike is better. On the other hand it is disrespectful to Duncan when people ignore him to call Kobe the greatest of his era. Kobe has 1 more ring, but Duncan has 1 more MVP and 1 more finals MVP. He's also considered the goat at his position.
nah see.. its because of his decline...
but Bryant's numbers are pretty the same
its hard to remember someone who is not on the front page for putting up big numbers anymore...
none can deny the black mamba
Kobe is consistently ranked higher than Duncan because there really hasn't been a decline in his production. He's putting up 27/5/5.5, which is right in line with what he's been doing since 2000.
Duncan has been playing under 30 mpg for a few years and hasn't averaged 20 ppg since the '06/07 season. Everyone respects him as an all-time great, but he hasn't matched Kobe's production over the course of their careers.
Duncan continually disrespected
Kobe is the greatest player of the era because he not only was THE guy on two championship teams. He was the dude who sacrificed his talent to make his team successful for three other championships. I don't care what any revisionist ass nikka says the lakers would have not got passed the Kings or Spurs without Kobe in the three peat years.
Y'all nikkas just hating you know it's true lol.

Pretty much.
And for Wade, he's been playing against Kobe since '04. Duncan did a lot of his damage before that time, and Kobe did more after.
He is to Kobe, what Kareem is to MJ.
