Stuff like this is why I'm done with sports games in the upcoming generation of consoles. Things will not change and the fans of these games will not stop buying them. So there is little reason for these developers and publishers to improve their games.

They would, but it "devalues the brand". It's the same reason why it's only Nike who makes the cleats and clothing as oppose of letting others such as Adidas, Puma, and Under Armor to also make products for them.

the dude in the video in OP or say ryanmoody type, i question like if u dont like madden why continue to play it. i understand its the only nfl game and all that but them folks go on and on about 2k8 or 2k5, hell just go play that. but u know why they wont, because making videos about madden brings more viewers. i know if i dont like a game, artist music-i wont play or listen to it/them

2k paid for it's renewal of the NBA license for 7yrs 1.1 billion. idk 2k financials but im sure they making damn good money from they collection of games

i think gone are the days of getting a classic sports game. madden doesnt have comp. 2k doesnt have comp. FIFA doesnt have comp. The show doesnt(But theyve put out solid items past few years).

It makes me mad because its the only genre of game i really play. but these companies only have to do the bare minimum. all they have to do is update rosters jerseys stadiums. remove a feature add it back a few years slightly better and only focus on features where you basically have to pay money to get add ons etc

FIFA's competition is PES
PES is known as the better game to play
