Lol EA not trynna get touched by the PR forest fire MS has created.
Now let's piece bits of info together and discuss some things:
-----
How Games Licensing Works on Xbox One
Microsoft leaves game resale up to the publisher and this PUBLISHER isn't blocking used game support at this time, if ever. The whole argument that Microsoft was an evil company because it's putting the consumers into the hands of evil money hungry publishers was apparently more fake outrage from fanboys waiting on M$ downfall. Devs/publishers complained about the used game scene digging in their pockets this entire gen. All Microsoft has done is tell them "If you feelin froggy, then leap.

" And now look, ain't shyt happen.
The whole "Sony has to do it too" from xbots was in reference to this publisher policy. If EA blocked used games on X1 you better believe PS4 was feelin it too, regardless of no console check-ins.
As it stands now, we can trade in and sell used games at retailers. Craigslist/ebay/street-corner hustles are in the bushes with what we know. Giving away games for free requires a 30-day friendship, after that you'll have to trade/sell to a retailer. We're still waiting for the official word on buying used games. Models for rentals are being "explored."
Hence the 24hr policy so X1 can throw the discs in the bushes. This is a trade off I do not mind. I find more value in not needing to even know where my disc is in order to play, switch, and share my games, than requiring the disc in-tray for the aforementioned and having the ability to play offline >24hrs during a blue moon.
