If you want to be technical the meat or the bulk of the 'sandwich' would have to be New York. That is where Hip Hop started and the foundation of any sandwich is the meat. That's why its a ROAST BEEF sandwich or a HAM sandwich.

The westcoast is the artisan bread because you don't have a good sandwich with out good bread. Without bread you are just eating lunch meat and that's basic.

The south is more like the cheese, tomatoes, and the lettuce. Important part to give you a full, nice sandwich.
