what did shaq do in the 90s east? what did penny, wilkens, miller, zo, lj, ewing etc ever do? their teams were inferior. a team of last years hawks, with kyle korver, jeff teague, al horford etc waxes those players respective teams because they were a better team. the cavs are built to play great team basketball. they absolutely destroy any of those 90s squads not named the chicago bulls. what on earth do those pacers teams do vs the cavs, for instance?

@ The only team you named that would be able to go compete with the Cavs were the Magic, and the Shaq mismatch is no bigger than the LeBron one, as in the Magic had absolutely nobody to guard LeBron. The Knicks, Pacers, Hawks and Hornets all get bodied, not a single one has a decent perimeter defender to put on LeBron and none of them would be able to keep up with the 3 point shooting.
