nah you're just purposely ignoring individual players because you can't name any in today's era that can compare.

Again, where's your Shaq? Where's your Penny? Where's your D Wilkins, Reggie Miller? Where's your Alonzo Morning? Where's your Larry Johnson? Where's your Patrick Ewing?

Where are they? Who are they?

Make your case.
what did shaq do in the 90s east? what did penny, wilkens, miller, zo, lj, ewing etc ever do? their teams were inferior. a team of last years hawks, with kyle korver, jeff teague, al horford etc waxes those players respective teams because they were a better team. the cavs are built to play great team basketball. they absolutely destroy any of those 90s squads not named the chicago bulls. what on earth do those pacers teams do vs the cavs, for instance?

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
The poster that you're talking to is simply out of his mind.

The East back in the 90s was far more competitive. It isn't even close.

Jordan went up against...the Knicks

Ewing, Starks, Mason, Charles Oakley, Derek harper etc

The Pacers

Mark Jackson, Dale Davis, Antonio Davis, Rik Smits and Reggie Miller

Orlando

Shaq, Penny, Nick Anderson, Dennis Scott, Scott Skiles

Charlotte Hornets with

Zo, Larry Johnson, Mugsy Bogues, Kendall Gill, Dell Curry etc etc

the Hawks with

D Wilkins, Steve Smith, Mookie Blaylock, Stacey Augman, Kevin Willis etc etc

On any given year in the early -mid 90s that was the rotation of competition in the East...It aint even close :wow:

Any one of those teams back then could win the East in this day and age..

:dead: @ The only team you named that would be able to go compete with the Cavs were the Magic, and the Shaq mismatch is no bigger than the LeBron one, as in the Magic had absolutely nobody to guard LeBron.

The Knicks, Pacers, Hawks and Hornets all get bodied, not a single one has a decent perimeter defender to put on LeBron and none of them would be able to keep up with the 3 point shooting.

Exactly.

Motherfukkas trying to compare LeBron's "plight" to MJ when dealing with the Knicks alone was a pain in the ass for them Bulls teams. The present day east is just pure shyt.
Who did any MJ/Bron Comparison?

:mindblown:

Those 90s Knicks weren't shyt comparing them to other teams over the past 30 years. I'd rank them as equals to the 80s Bucks

If you want to argue the 90s Eastern Conference had more stars?:yeshrug:
Better teams though?:usure:

The Knicks were one of the best teams in the 90s. Their second best player for most of that time (Starks) was a former CBA walk on who only stuck with the team initially because he got injured trying to dunk on Ewing.

This is where the comparison was made, Corky

East was just as bad during Michael's run.

And didn't hurt MIchael's legacy at all :ehh:.

Yes because those players didn't play on teams :snoop:
They played on barely average teams.

We are having an eastern conference debate based on teams and and here you are name dropping 90s stars as if you're flag waiving for teams.

You are everything thats wrong about the 90s and the byproduct it left behind....placing just as much importance to the back of the jersey as to the front.

This is a front of the jersey debate. :camby:

Only two players comparable today are a limped legged, boxer faced D Wade and a twice defeated NBA. Finalist in Lebron James

The Boston Celtics that LeBron had to face from '08-'13 are better than any of the teams Jordan faced in the 90's East...

The Knicks peaked when Jordan was playing baseball. They barely made it over the Jordan-less Bulls with the dispute Hue Hollins call in '94.

I'm waiting niqqa. Who is the fool that would argue the 90s Knicks with old D Harp was betterthan those 80s :snoop: :snoop: Mavs with prime Harp you used to say my basketball acumen is off?

nikka I don't care about some 80s mavs. Now, are the teams of the 90s better then today? Yes or no?

There is absolutely no logic in your argument and we both know it.

That "we're not talking about players, we're talking about the teams they played on" just sounds straight ridiculous
