A lot of y'all have no idea what the hell you talmbout. Real MF G'z did not almost end Dre's career. Wasn't nobody trying to hear anything Eric and them said back then at all. Death Row had the machine behind them at the time and wasn't nobody or nothing stopping them. Now in hindsight, Eric and them murdered Death Row on wax and Eazy won that beef because he got paid off Dre's work. But, I was a teenager at the time and everyone laughed at Eazy. I do recall some of the big homies saying Eazy was killing Dre back then, but they got laughed at, too. Turns out they were right though LOL. But, you Coli revisionist are not telling the truth.

Media was trying to black ball E, acting like weak ass Dre Day was ether and shyt, it was the first time you really seen them trying to sway and force our opinions regarding a certain artist, shameful shyt looking back.................:pacspit:

Kind of like the whole Drake and Meek Mill shyt in the media.

Breh what are you talking about?

The EP with the diss on it sold 2 mill. BONE alone outsold everyone on Death Row, with the exception of Pac.

So I'm kinda :what:at you talking about "nobody cared what Eazy was saying, Death Row had a machine behind it", as if Ruthless wasn't a force itself back then.

Maybe you think it's a coincidence but Dre did leave the gangster shyt alone for a long ass time. If Dre don't find Eminem history goes a completely different route. Back then Dre was so directionless he was scouring the underground for anybody to put him back in the game. I remember he briefly considered signing The Last Emperor before he decided on Eminem.

I like The Last Emperor but that would've been the end of Aftermath, and Dre.

The guy you responded to is right. Real Muthaphukkin G'z was a last ditch effort.

Bone Thugs didn't outsell Snoop

Bone Thugs didn't outsell Snoop

"Doggystyle" went 4x plat.

"Creepin On Ah Come Up" went 4x plat. Less than a year later "E. 1999 Eternal" went 4x plat.

By the time Snoop dropped his second album they'd sold twice of what he did on Death Row.

The only point in his career Snoop was remotely on the same level as BONE, is his debut.

And if he's right please illustrate his point clearer than a Jordan smilie. What scenario do you see unfolding, if Dre hadn't found Eminem?

Mind you he was so hard up for talent he signed a guy that raps about Marvel superheroes:

Around the same time "Aftermath Presents" barely went plat and was largely ignored by hip-hop, in general.

So yeah....what are you talking about man? As loathe as I am to give Eminem credit for anything, he saved Aftermath and Dre.

Yeah fans were like "Eazy-E did his thing on Real Compton city Gs, but Dre is still a lot more successful and the Chronic still shyts all over Eazy-E's diss track"

Yeah people stopped giving a fukk about Eazy and Ruthless after 92 until Bone Thug came out. Above The Law, and MC Ren lowkey dropped heat, but nikkas weren't checking for them like that.
