Yeah fans were like "Eazy-E did his thing on Real Compton city Gs, but Dre is still a lot more successful and the Chronic still shyts all over Eazy-E's diss track"

wtf sit yo late 90's dre fan down. E was more successful even cube give E his props even said he made more money with NWA with he first came on scene after departing with NWA

how can dr be more successful when he wasn't even a boss on his own label

nikkas talkin bout Dre was done:mjlol:,do yall not remember Dre had Snoop,Snoop wasn't fukking done....Dre rode Snoops coat tails quite easily through the storm that was Real Muthafukin G's":banderas:.

You cant just separate Snoop from Dre:mjlol:.

Snoop instantly being seen as better than Dre and being the most anticipated emcee of all time, when he was supposed to be the protégé,hurt Dre more than Real Muthafukin G's.

Kurupt then being the most anticipated on Deathrow following Snoop also hurt Dre more than Real Muthafukkin G's.

Pac signing to Deathrow making Dre pretty much a afterthought as a solo artist hurt Dre more than Real Muthafukin G's.

The success of other nikkas on Deathrow is probably what gave some of yall the feeling Dre was done, because in a sense he was,but it wasn't because of Eazys diss.

nikkas wasn't on no fukk Dre because of that song shyt,it was more like "Okay, stick to producing now Dre and let these nikkas do the rapping:banderas:"

Eazy on the other hand wouldn't have had this problem with the success of his proteges, because people actually liked Eazy as a rapper/reciter,Bone would've just given him an even bigger spotlight to talk that shyt:pachaha:

Yeah Eazy did get paid off of Dre and the Chronic, but Dre was still more popular, and no one gave a fukk about Eazy in the 90s until he discovered Bone Thugs. Even Howard Stern gave eazy props for his business swag, and getting paid off of the Chronic and the way that contract was structured.

I look at it like Eazy's diss did put Dre's persona in question more than it ever had been, but he was respected enough as a producer that his rapper image taking a hit wasn't gonna end him as long as he was a part of death row classics, when he left death row his attempt at not bein a gangsta was so bad people wanted him to go back to it lol

Eazy-E was going multi-plat in the 90's after NWA and before BONE was even in the picture. :martin:

Reading these threads you can tell who watched the "Straight Outta Compton" movie and got fooled into believing Eazy was broke after NWA.

Yeah that Mutherfukking Gs track did have people on the streets talking and gossiping about Dre's past, but that 187 killa album

Fred.

Now you putting words in my mouth. I never said Eazy was broke after NWA, and what has that Straight out of Compton movie have to do with anything? That movie was one sided as hell, and didn't tell the whole story about NWA in it's entirety, and left important parts out. Facts are facts. Eazy wasn't nearly as popular as Dre and Snoop after NWA broke up. Yeah 187 um killa went multi plat, but was still not nearly as successful as the Chronic. If it weren't for Eazy getting his cut off the Chronic sales, Eazy woulda lost this beef entirely. Deathrow still dominated the early 90s regardless of Dre Day being Eazy's payday. I can tell by your post that you're just looking for a reason to argue with somebody when I clearly stated facts.

nikkas in here acting like Real Muthaphuckin Gs put a dent in Dre's overall career. All that song was, was a great comeback to Dre Day, and People want to bring up 187um killa going plat like that's some type of valid argument. Everyone went gold and/or platinum back in the early 90s. :russ:187um still wasn't fukking with the Chronic's popularity at the time. Eazy getting 20 % off of Chronic's album sales was Eazy's real saving grace in the beef.

:camby:Eazy's EP that dropped like 10 days before the Chronic flopped, it only went gold.. so him dropping 187um and going multiplatinum after being dragged through the mud and taking a dip in popularity initially is pretty significant

And I don't think theres a soul on earth that will tell u the Chronic isnt better than 187um, that doesnt change the fact that Real G's is way better than Dre Day and Eazy won the beef on wax and shytted on Dre heavy every chance he got
