AS I WAS WATCHING EDDIE WITH SEINFELD
I REALIZED DUDE IS SITTING ON A GOLDMINE
(40 YRS WORTH)
FULL OF STORIES ABOUT HIS ENCOUNTERS WITH OTHER CELEBRITIES AND HE REMEMBERS EVERYTHING VERBATIM.
THINK ABOUT ALL THE MAGIC JOHNSON ORGIES,
MJ, PRINCE & RICK JAMES STORIES.

REMEMBER CHARLIE MURPHY HAD THE FUNNIEST CHAPPELLE SHOW SEGMENTS
DOING JUST THAT...
TELLING STORIES OF EDDIES ENCOUNTERS WITH OTHER CELEBRITIES.

HIS IMPERSONATIONS ARE STILL MONEY TIL THIS DAY...

THIS shyt WOULD BE LIGHT WORK FOR HIM.

When he was telling the Sammy Davis story I was thinking of how dope a Chappelle Show skit about that would've been.

His memory is ridiculous, Jerry was asking him about random spots from like 78 and Eddie was just shooting out facts.

Eddie still got his talent, he can do brilliant shyt like Nutty Professor & Dream Girls all day. But that attitude & stage presence that comes from a young nikka not giving fukk what people think can def be lost. Just compare a young Chris Tucker to the current version.

I don't blame Eddie at all, I mean how can somebody becoming that uber successful not change them significantly. Eddie don't gotta do standup to survive.

Think of a dude like Earthquake who's old now, but still got the same essence & swag as his younger self. Although he's been somewhat successful, he's still had to remain grounded for the most part.

Eddie's voice/way he talked and the iconic laugh from back in the day was just a gimmick. The guy you see now is more of the real Eddie. He's still naturally funny, with that in the chamber he still has a chance to do well standup wise. Like he said he has to hit the clubs and see what works. Raw Eddie is gone, he'll have to reinvent himself/he's not a kid anymore.

Just watched it....cool stuff. And yeah, his memory is retarded.

But then I watched the one with Jamie Foxx....now THAT one was funny.
