Damn, I didn't even know EJ was out of the league. It's funny though. EJ was a 1st round pick with good College resume and didn't get much of a chance. This Petterman dude, I have never seen such a bad QB keep getting chance after chance after chance. He wasn't a top prospect so I don't understand why they keep trotting him out there. We all know there's a double standard when it comes to white/vs black QBs. Really would like to see the discussion get some burn.

Peterman’s only getting a chance because two QB’s got hurt. Personally we’d still have this discussion if it were Allen doing this but they’re betting the house on Allen. I don’t think this ends well for Buffalo either way.

Peterman shouldn’t be on a roster though. It shouldn’t cost them anything to let him go and find a different backup (Wouldn’t shock me if he beat the Jets next week though)

Even if we brush aside Peterman for the sake or argument, he knows the system, they have no other in house options etc etc.

Nah, half the league losses every week. 32 Teams, each with a minimum of 2 QB's with most carrying 3. A solid 80 QB's are on rosters at all times.

There's a lot of black QB's you would call trash, in fact, you would/could argue all of them are trash. I don't agree with that statement but let's say you feel that way. You tryna say he isn't top 80 material? You tryna tell me there's 50+ better options in the league? This isn't about if you think he's trash, it's about if he's good enough to play in this league and the answer is fukk yeah. He's only played on terrible teams, that doesn't matter tho cuz he's trash right? This is about racism/prejudices/politics. Peterman is complete trash, but if you think EJ is even a servicable back up you didn't watch him in Pre-Season with the Raiders. He's a 3rd string guy and Peterman is a practice squad guy

Charlie Batch is the gold standard of Black backups

Him, Jay Lucas, Jeff Blake, Seneca Wallace, and Josh Johnson are the only Black career backups(more or less) I can even think of off top in my life. I could name 10 Charlie Whitehursts for each of them. Then they get the OC/HC jobs because they're in the league so long. Self-fulfilling prophecy. shyt sad.
