Peterman is complete trash, but if you think EJ is even a servicable back up you didn't watch him in Pre-Season with the Raiders. He's a 3rd string guy and Peterman is a practice squad guy
Is that on EJ or is that on the Raiders being a completely god awful coaching staff? Cause everything I've seen so far is that the Raiders coaching on offense is real real bad. Leaves him without any real reps and no real talent around him.

I think if he had gone to the Chiefs or Bears or something instead of the Raiders he'd still be in the league.

Charlie Batch is the gold standard of Black backups :myman:

Him, Jay Lucas, Jeff Blake, Seneca Wallace, and Josh Johnson are the only Black career backups(more or less) I can even think of off top in my life. I could name 10 Charlie Whitehursts for each of them. Then they get the OC/HC jobs because they're in the league so long. Self-fulfilling prophecy. shyt sad. :francis:
Forgot the OG black back up. Vince Evans

I refuse to listen to any justifiable reason that Matt Barkley, who was shyt and overhyped in COLLEGE and has done absolutely nothing but suck complete ass as a pro, has lasted longer in the league and gotten more chances in this league than a guy like EJ.

It serves the NFL right that they have no good back-up QB's anymore
since they decide that the black QB's can't ever be back-ups because they have to "change the offense" like you can't run a traditional NFL offense with a dude that can run.

When was there ever an era where the NFL had enough good backup QB's for you to notice the fall off?

There is zero QB development in the NFL, it's not the NBA where you can latch on somewhere else and fix yourself.

What did Matt Barkley do to you breh?

Yeah, Peterman is trash. Its a lot of below avg whiteness at backup across the league. I thought EJ was still in Oakland. Its crcrazy that he doesn't have a backup job somewhere.

With black QBs, you better be a starter or have starter potential to stay in the league.

Ain't no black Chase Daniels out there getting paid to be a #2 option that everyone know can't play. The double standard between black and white QBs in the NFL is crystal clear.

:laff::laff: The plea copping for Sam Darnold had already begun yeah?

Russ had no problems winning a Super bowl with Javon Kearse, Robbie Anderson had a breakout year last year, Quincy Enunwa had his breakout year the season before his injury, they got 2 good RBs but Darnold has no-one to throw to huh:mjgrin:

Leading the league in INTs? Not his fault
