Whatever your point is it still doesn't make your trash comparison to Dilfer fly or change what he actually accomplished or ended up being handed (surrounding cast, system, etc).
yeah he does....Game Winning drives in 2007 and 2011, both SB championship seasonsRe read the previous post.
Ignore reality...he ain't gettin in. And his accumulation of stats is based in longevity--not production
he has no league leading season titles in any of those categories and he's 36th all time passer rating. He played every game since he came into the league in the last 12 years
he has 2 SBs where in both seasons they were the last seed carried by the D and he even led in interceptions during those years.
For Eli to get in he would have DEFY any QB who has gotten in since 1970

No matter what your Giants zeal makes you feel like, Eli is a Trent Dilfer upgrade.
We wouldn't be talkin' about him if it wasn't for a couple good throws in the clutch and the play of his defense, just like Trent.
Eli is 35 years old, and people still see him as a little nicca.

anyone who compares Eli to Trent Dilfer need not discuss football on this board
*noted for future reference*
wtf? he was 2nd in TD last seasonThe SB MVP is not the "ultimate title" lol. Plenty of players have ONE and will never sniff the HOF because of their career stats.
2 QBs have SB titles with an SB MVP AND League MVP plus they have other league titles to go with it and they still ain't in lol.
Eli is literally riding on 2 SBs as the underdog seed carried by his D with nothing else to add. Never a league leader in anything other than INTs and never statistically even a top 5 in any season that he's played in.
Any list he makes is simply based on the fact that he hasn't missed a game.
The people who nominate and vote in the HOF are not "fans" like the Giants stans...they will pour over every detail of his career
Lol it ain't happening

In what? 12 seasons without missing a game?
11 QBs selected in 26 years which contain atleast 1 SB and one season of outstanding/standout performance
He's a lock for the Giants "Ring of Honor" tho
His "accumulation, longevity stats" will be surpassed by:
Aaron Rogers, Ben Rothlesburger and Carson Palmer...that's not including Russel Wilson, Cam Newton and any other All-Pro player that comes after him.
My Giants zeal makes me feel like having a brain capable of reason and a basic understanding of reality.
I don't know whether Eli is going to make the Hall or not.
I'd pretty much guarantee you, however, that none of those guys voting -- including the ones who'd vote against him -- are going to basically triple down on a nonsense claim that he's Trent Dilfer redux when called on it like you are though.
