Let's see, in this thread, nikkas have compared John fukkin Elway to Bernie Kosar, Jake Plummer, Jeff George, and someone named Ken fukkin Anderson :why: These were not fukkin compliments :upsetfavre:

And they've said that he doesn't belong in the same convo as Marino and Jim fukkin Kelly :rudy:

:umad:

:childplease: I could you saying he's just as good, but you couldn't be reasonable :comeon:

Learn your football history if you think Ken and Bernie were scrubs.

Some of you dudes have shyt for opinions.

The Elway hate is amazing. Calm down, he was a great qb but no one is on his shyt like that.

It's not hate. Horseface been shoved down our throats for years. I remember that nikka's football game sitting next to tecmo bowl and :heh:

To hear how dudes put him in their top 3 makes me sick. He should be calling Peyton "papa".

yall are underestimating montanas arm and overestimating rodgers' arm.
montana's passes on the run were just as good, if not better

montana could make 50-60 yard passes in the air just as well

Dog

do

not

go

there!!!

Montana didn't have anywhere NEAR the arm strength and velocity of A-Rod.

Stop it!!!

I watched Joe since he was scrambling Joe and his career almost ended with a back injury my dude. It was always known that he didn't have a strong arm.

Come on man. Lets chill with that.

 I posted proof that Jeff George was just as good as he was though. This is what @mastermind was talking about. What exactly is Elway better than George at? Than Marino at? The stats are here in this thread.

Bullshyt.

I can show a Harold Miner youtube film and it would prove that he could make "all the shots."

Montana did not have a strong arm. That was a known fact and known to all 49ers fans. He could NOT make all the throws.

and he the one who is arguing FOR Elway and admonishing everyone for saying he was overrated as if he watched him in his prime.

Exactly.

It's ridiculous. And for him to say "some Ken Anderson" dude as if Ken isn't a candidate for the hall of fame and should be in there says it all.

I'm still waiting for dude to tell me whose numbers are better.

again Ive shown a proof of him physically making a ridiculously difficult throw where a pass is throw 50 yards in the air on the run.

nfl plays usually arent designed to go more than 50 yards in the air anyway.
hes had an arm to make any throws required.

rodgers has a strong arm, but not even that strong either. hes not top 5 in the nfl or anything. trust me, Ive watched him from cal days and Ive watched him pretty closely in the nfl. guys like vick cutler stafford flacco all have much much stronger arms

brehzerp... Joe's lack of arm strength was no secret.

"Despite his performance on the field, Montana was not rated highly by most scouts. At one combine, Montana rated out as six-and-a-half overall with a six in arm strength, used to judge how hard and how far a prospect could throw the ball. By comparison, Jack Thompson of Washington State rated an eight, the highest grade among eligible quarterbacks.[11]"
