you know what, thats fair
with that statement, I went by boxing historians and Larry Holmes who fought both of them.
Mad props for Holmes. Highly underrated champ, but its human nature to ride with your peers and champs from your era(like historians do, still won't give Chicken Roy the props he deserve)
But yeah, I know a lot of designated boxing historians like to say Foreman, Earnie Shavers, etc hit harder than Mike. At the same time, I think its human nature to ride with nostalgia...since it was the golden era of boxing



You disagree with me but yet you post all of these things supporting my stance?
I didn't say anything about Elway's abilities. You reached on that one. I merely pointed to the fact that a guy with average numbers (for the time) and empty fingers would not have the chance that Elway did late in his career.



I never knew that Denver originally drafted Tommy Maddox.
