Yeah, but the reason they're not spending now is:

1) there isn't a free agent available to them that makes sense (Gasol/LMA aren't leaving their teams, and if they did wouldn't go to philly)
2) Once you've decided to go this route, you can't randomly start signing middling free agents... and fukk up your top 3 pick locks.

I know, I was going to add that they shouldn't spend the money right now, but said fukk it.

He basically had the Cavs drooling over him with his pre-draft workout, no pain and had a broken foot :francis:
Actually it was after his cavs workout where he started feeling pain I believe

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Based on Potential..... But I never saw it

So you think 10 Years from now we will look back and say he is better than Wiggins?

If he were healthy yes, he'd be better than Wiggins. He was the best center prospect since Shaq, this wasn't some project big that needed to develop a skillset, this was a dude that had everything there and just needed it to be refined and have his body mature. He was better than Oden as well, Greg was raw offensively but was showing improvement, Embiid had damn near everything in his offensive arsenal. Outside of the post moves and shooting, we saw him handle doubles, post and re-post, find shooters, find cutters, dude had it all.

When it comes to centers, there's nothing more rare than the two way center in a 7 foot + tall package, he was that :francis: He had the tools to be elite on both ends of the floor and we may miss out on yet another top tier talented 5. Right now he's falling behind in regards to development, can't play 5 on 5, can't really get game minutes, so Wiggins obviously has the leg up. With the direction the NBA is heading, a two way center that can shoot freethrows is the nuclear bomb to these small lineups, especially with 4 shooters surrounding him.

I can't help it, Oden would have been a beast had he not gotten hurt, Yao would have won a chip......

It's deja vu :francis: All I can hope for is that this goes like Zydrunas, where maybe he does miss some more time, but then he's healthy from there on.
