I think people are getting confused with loans and withdrawals. Some 401k do have hardship loans. Where yall nikkas getting your info from?
I have a 401k(b) account that i use thru my job. Every check they deduct and invest 10% of my check. Theres an option to borrow against it (up to 50k) and hardship is one of the options when doing so
You're right.Keep in mind that those stats are an average of the black people who got money saved with those who don't.. The haves are carrying the load for the have nots..
People can do both at the same time.Hes saying dont have money just sitting there in the bank when it can be working for you.
Agree 100%....which is what I do now.People should do both.
You're right.
And people can legit make up their lives online....whereas I have no need to. I can post receipts for any of my claims
And I don't resort to childish behavior when I disagree lol
I agree. You really don't need a lot of money saved up though and everyone view money differently.. All I can say is get rid of debt.
My “emergency funds” is a credit card. I don’t think that’s bad.

Okay but what happens if you lose your job are you going to survive off of your credit card for months at a time?I agree. You can pay for most things with a credit card so you don't need the emergency savings account really.
