This is true. The left if they could pull it off could have more people (organziing), however they choose to stick with the establishment gimmick. I don't think money is just the problem alone though. They fail in making a progressive platform that is wildly understood. They can't just be socially liberal

I mean there's other issues but money is the big one. Unless you have unions you can't have left politics.

I live in Canada and in some places they do have power. It's about expanding though not resting on the status quo.
