This is more recent, and conceptionally/lyrically sound. he's up there as far as technicability goes but he's also a dope SONG WRITER when he wants to be, sometimes you have to dial down the technical shyt to make the song work.

You got guys like monch, thought, and early rakim and kool g that really put a lot into their craft as well, em's ability to BALANCE that talent is what set him apart from the cats people like to try and compare him to (canibus, chino ect.)...rippity rap aside he's an underrated overall song writer when he's really on his shyt.
