Production on this was no less than an 8 and I'm inclined to give it a 9. Eminem while still with some legendary verses was the issue here, with the constant use of the accent (Although sometimes I wonder whether I prefer the accent or the yelling he would go on to start). If this album had been critically received better, I think we would have gotten Detox. Instead he switched things up on recovery, was critically acclaimed again, and I think Dre felt a little self conscious about his production since he did not produce all of Recovery.

like a 5 :ld:

dre was repeatin' himself with those tired dinosaur stomp drums. it really wasn't anythin' different or spectacular bout the production

when you compare the production of this album to the production of other albums that came out that year, then yeah, it stands out but to judge that album by dre's credentials it was sore :yeshrug:

dre's redundancy is still miles better than most producers' mediocre or worst but the the production was stale to me :manny:

I loved the production on this album and I thought the album was unfairly shytted on, and I'm a eminem hater. Haven't really liked any albums of his except for the slim shady lp

EXTREMELY underrated album

very strong tracks on there

best Em album since Eminem show
I agree. All he had to do was drop the mom songs, pop references, and accents. He also ruined that "Insane" joint with all those gay references. He shoulda just spazzed on the industry with that track. One of the hardest Dre beats I've heard in awhile. Ganja was one of my favorite beats. That was a legit eminem album. Favorite tracks

Same Song and Dance
Hello
Stay Wide Awake= 2nd and 3rd verses was crazy
Must Be The Ganja
Bag Pipes
Beautiful
My Darling
Be Careful What You Wish For
Medicine Ball

His last decent album

Production is an 8. Best eminem album since 2002

9.0

Production was amazing

The whole package was the definition of acquired taste though

Put anyone else on those beats you have a certified classic

Relapse to me is te last good eminem album though. 8.5/10 for me

Everything else after for the most part eminem wise is trash

The only Em album I liked after his prime 1999-2002... the production was great its just his voices and all that were wack and the first single was trash and corny.

3rd best eminem album :wow:

This is completely false. Those names could be the producer, co producer, if somebody is playing a instrument, if they sample a rappers line, if they sample sumbodys song, etc.

Best cacinem album

Production was amazing

If only snoop was on those beats :mjcry:

dre didn't even produced the song i liked most on there, eminem did :krs::dahell::mindblown:

this is eminem's last great song, underrated gem:mjcry:

:wtf: I thought the "Recovery" album was considered a better album than "Relapse"?

"Recovery" singles >>>>>>>>>>> "Relapse" singles.
