Albums Eminem - REVIVAL (Discussion Thread)

I’ve been steadily going through this over the last week. This is just forgettable and a mess. The songs with Beyoncé and Alicia shoulda been instant hits, but those tracks are just meh.

Terrible chorus for Bey too. “I walk on water but I’m not Jesus…”

randomly heard some of this again....Considering its from an A list all time GOAT top 10 all time rapper....I consider this the worst rap album of all time I think . maybe not worst but let me say most unlistenable if that makes sense

Dudes trying to convince themselves that some suit came up to Em before Relapse and was like, "You know , for your big comeback we would like for you rap most of the songs from the perspective of a serial rapist/killer Yeah...and do it in some strange ass accent too "

this is one of the covos about em we dont have thats frustrating ...he clearly isnt forced to make any type of music...but still creates some ass

Thank God he came out with Music To Be Murdered By cause that was his best effort yet. Kamikaze was ok but some songs aren’t good nowadays.

It's just as bad as MMLP2, Relapse, and Recovery to me. Pretty much any album he's done past MMLP2 has been mediocre IMO. I find a few tracks I like and never touch the rest again.

MMLP2 is illmatic compared to this album

Encore is a bad album, but it still had the things that made Em a star in the 1st place (great flow, unique sense of humor, amusing world play, Dre/Bass brothers type beats)

Revival has none of that. He had zero charisma and sounded like he was relearning how to rap with shytty stop and go flows

And it also has some of the worst beats I've heard. Encore had good production.
