Jeff Bass Explains Estranged Eminem Relationship

So he pretty much told them he wasn't interested in working with them anymore. :snoop:

It even says here that it was hard for them to work with him at first because he wasn't musical like that and they couldn't understand him but they were able to make tracks he could connect with emotionally.
Wow. So the Bass Brothers basically said in a polite way the Em was basically autistic and so uninclined musically that they would have to tell him whether a beat sounded "happy", "sad", "angry", etc, in order to get him to write the appropriate type of song?

:mjlol:

It feels like Eminem raps without the beat nowadays. Like the engineer just adds his vocals to the beat in post production.
Someone says giving their beat to Em must have felt like giving their beat to a wood chipper.
why he can't get dope production tho? :mindblown: he needs guidance on that department, all these looney tunes sounding beats ain't gonna cut it.

Credit to @Mike the Executioner fir the link. The Bass Bros basically say Em couldn't even tell the difference with his own ears between a "happy" or "sad" beat and had to be told.

these beats so far don't fit em...at all.

second beat's a step in the right direction, though.

I'm looking less forward to the project. Won't fully judge until I hear it, but the tracklisting, titles, features don't sound promising at all. Cover misleads into thinking it could be something...better..but we'll see.

He needs to dump his yes men

Here's why I can no longer fucck with Eminem. This CraKKKa is PANDERING. I wasn't tripping too hard when Joyner Lucas already done this type of song, as well as Mysonne putting his spin on it. These are black men who is living that experience and have a right to speak out on it. Eminem, on the other hand, is trying to appease black people by trying to be the voice FOR black people. I had a problem with it when he did that shyt on the BET awards, I have a problem with it now. I always had a problem with him trying hard to appease black people to the point he gets on his Rachel Dolezal steez.

I like the Masta Ace reference that kicks off the first and second verse (see "Born to Roll"). Other than that, the flow is awkward, the rhyme schemes are all over the place, and it's just badly executed.

I could be wrong, but I think Em is talking more to his base which are white fans who probably don’t think they’re racist, or are just oblivious to what’s going on so to hear a fellow Caucasian speak on ish honestly, maybe it’s geared to resonate more with them then us. Us being black folks.

I like it more than anything off MMLP 2 besides Evil Twin maybe.

But like I said with the Intro, this would probably sound better in context of the album, this shouldn't be a "single". But listening to it I feel like it could make for a dope/powerful video, if that's the plan then cool. They really should have just dropped the whole album at once.
Nah Legacy and Headlights killed this
