i keep waiting to hear the old em and i think im finally realizing its not going to happen....we get a little flash of the past during a bet cypher or a radio freestyle but nothing will compare to anything pre encore, encore ...as far as writing goes i think marshall mathers LP was the best written album of all time. He was doing things that dont seem humanly possible, so naming the MMLP2 is going to tarnish the name....it was good to hear him rap in his normal voice in this song for some of it and i do think this will be a hit, its just not sumthin i see myself bumpin....the funny thing is i was watching some of his performances from those shows he had last week and he was performing tracks from MMLP in his regular voice and staying on flow, so its not like he cant do it anymore..... i think its just a reflection on how good he used to be that hes still considered one of the best after falling off almost 10 years ago..... I blame 50...wasnt until he signed him that he started switching everything up

I thought that joint "on fire" was pretty vintage em on Recovery. If you blink you'll miss it though.
