Em did classic Em with this track, with a little bit of a different flavor(obviously song is inspired by an old school sound). This shyt was basically Without Me/My name is Real Slim shady caliber shyt. I'm not gonna base the albums sound off this because from Ems track record his first singles almost NEVER sound like the first single. Its just a bullshyt silly/slim shady song for him to get on the radio.


That being said I enjoyed the lil jabs and the fact that it was this type of song. If this says anything its that we may be getting away from the recovery sound and back to him being on his wilder shyt. Hence the album title. Still too earlier to say or assume tho. The gawd is back tho

its really sad that Eminem stalkers have to defend this horrid shyt stain of a single.....its almost like they are trapped the shyt storm

SSLP, MMLP, TES, 8 Mile Eminem is DEAD and he's not coming back. Naming it "MMLP 2" is a gimmick to try and get old fans back. It's kinda desperate considering "Recovery" sold 4 Million. He needs to let his classic album and best work stand in history on it's own.

After hearing the full version, it's definitely better than the cartoonishly singles like "Just Lose It", "Without Me", "The Real Slim Shady", etc.

This song is very, very bad. Not nearly on the level of The Real Slim Shady OR Without Me. Stop it with that. This is just as painful to me as "Just Lose It". Relapse was the closest we got to old Em and his own fans turned their backs on him on some "whats up with all the accents" shyt. Are you happy now? Still reserving judgment on MMLP2, but I definitely don't want Screaminem or weird whispery Em. Those 2nd and 3rd verses are .

Whats wrong with recovery except the flow? Some punchlines are corny and is being done for white high school cheerleaders who got self esteem problem. Other than that Recovery was dope. I remember the thread back on SOHH where ALL showed Recovery love. Then some power posters started hating on the flow and the sheeps started to follow

If you can't tell the difference between Without Me and Berserk, lyricism, flow and cadence. Than you should kill yourself.


Recovery was not dope. It was the definition of a sell out album with generic beats and punchlines.

I have mixed feelings about this, I do like that its different, its nothing like all the other "radio singles" rappers have been making for the past decade. However, I don't like the screaming nor does anyone else, the parts where he isn't screaming are not bad. Like other people have said there is too much goin on in the beat and I don't like the rock style hip hop beats.

All that being said, it is better than most his other first singles and we all know that he makes these to get them played on the radio and they usually do not reflect what the album is like so I am still hyped for the album

Why is he screaming on this . He really ruined this beat, he easily could have spit some hiphop history using that beat & sample. I'm really not anticipating his new album.
