this is exactly why nyc recalled all of it's city workers back to the office. they'll be paying tolls, gas tax, buying metrocards, buying breakfast/lunch/dinner, buying cologne/perfume and spending money on new clothes. forcing people to work away from home to stimulate the economy even more.

This shyt is mathematics.. Thats why everyone hates Jeff Bazos so much.. He made even --->more<--- money during the pandemic.. While those who rely on foot traffic suffered.. Corporations had no choice but to side with the business community.. Jeff getting too far ahead of them.. "Open up the economy".. :manny:

WFH reduces the risk for workplace sexual harassment and violence. You would think employers would be appreciative of that :yeshrug:
Go read thru the multiple threads about WFH on here and see all the replies about missing the work wife, flirting with hoes, getting away from the wife and kids. Who do you think is responsible for that workplace sexual harassment?

My job isn't WFH but if it was I would still rather come into the office. Only takes 5-10 minutes to get there (with traffic).

Rather use up their electricity, water, and air conditioning than my own. Plus I like having the ability of getting up and walking around the building versus sitting in my drawers in my bed or at my desk not really tryna do shyt.

Everyone is different though. :ehh:

Because the land developers who build the buildings to house those people would be out of a job.. Then consider the jobs that goes along with maintaining big buildings.. Shyt be connected like a mfer but people hate to acknowledge whats really going on here..
It’s even farther than that.

One of my coworker’s uncle used to own a dry cleaner. As work clothes became more casual, less men and women needed their clothes dry cleaned.

Imagine if WFH sweats became the majority.

Most definitely. They were already going to start hiring people for less once they moved the company to low cost of living location.

I already said this from the beginning. JP Morgan ain’t paying no worker 150K a year while they sit at home in Kentucky lol

Flip side is that workers already know you're saving money so they're going to expect some of that cost savings to filter down.

More work from home employees means less $$$ spent on real estate, work cafeterias etc.

I have been telling everyone I know for years that working from home is the shyt. I don't think that an extra $50k could get me to commute to anyone's office at this point...:hubie:

I wish I had thhe qualifications to do that
:mjcry:

Only folks I've known that work from home are doing bullshyt callcenter shyt

I don't like looking at cacs. Some are the same condescending ones in emails that wouldn't bust a grape in a fruit fight but will lip off and bug you all day. Now my manager got us playing kahoots with one another to introduce ourselves. I'm good on that. fukk em, let's get the work done. I don't got time for that fake friendly shyt.

I don’t know how these companies thought people would just give up that work from home life easily lol. I knew it wouldn’t last long though. I mean props to these people for standing up and saying fukk it I quit, I’m afraid that a lot of these companies are going to hire young and cheap folks though to put in their place
