don't blame them, its now a requirement and not a "perk"

why should i drive a hour to work in traffic sit at a chair for 8 hours and then a hour home rinse and repeat 5 days a week for like 11 months of the year. When for the past like 14 months I worked from home perfectly fine with zero hiccups

I'd quit as well

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
I actually prefer going to work. I got everything I need with a big ass desk and comfy chair. Plus my commute isn't bad.:hubie:

But hopefully this will open up the eyes of employers and they will see that most of the jobs today are crap. I know it won't, but I'm still hopeful.

I hate working from home. Home is for relaxing, eating, watching TV etc.

Home is not for working

I’m never in the mood to work when I’m in my house

Respect the good & understand the bad
I think another big thing is that a lot of employers are going to start realizing how bloated their staffs were with filler positions after all these years. There's going to be a huge society-wide job culling in the near future and it's going to leave a lot of people out on the streets assed out

There will always be those willing to come in to work, don't believe the short labor hype

Yeah but in the tech world, people being willing to do something doesn’t mean anything. Can they even do the job is the main question. And the fact that the answer is no to that question so many times is why employees will have no problem finding someone to meet there demands.

But when you are working from home you can do it at your leisure....:pachaha: and plus you dont even have to leave the house how is that not a win. take a break anytime you want, drink all you want, do what you want...

I wish I was working from home but as an amazon driver I gotta be on the road in the afternoons...:francis: 9-10 hour shifts...

My commute is about 10min, and my desk layout is immaculate :wow:, and I work in midtown Atlanta with tons of food options and bad bytches to chop it up with on the daily. All that still doesn’t beat the WFH life I’ve been accustomed to for more than a year now. I can’t go back :damn:

Brooklyn!!!!!
My NY job went back to the office one week out the month, starting last month. Even though they gave me permission to move out of state and wfh. Told them they have to lay me off(and give me unemployment) if I cant work from home anymore. They ended up giving me a reasonable accommodation to continue WFH until September, while we "figure things out". My answer will still be the same :yeshrug:

With the job I have now it's exclusively WFH. I was on unemployment this time last year, wishing I was a WFH'er instead.

There is no comparison, this WFH life is heaven. I also have a side job that I go to the building for once a week and I do a few of those delivery jobs on occasion when I'm bored or to earn extra money. This is the life I always wanted. :takedat:
What’s your WFH job?
