3 million children die due starvation each year. There is no food shortage any where in the wold that is beyond the capability of being fixed. They just aren't. Fact not opinion
No, like someone said, this is a false accomplishment. You cannot end would hunger when there is still poverty, corruption, countries being torn apart by civil war or regions being terrorized by extremism groups - people being displaced are going to have food parachuted to them like this is the hunger games? I’d see if the choice were world peace vs $20M as peace would make it easier to start addressing additional ills, but you cannot solve world hunger with the amount of violence and disruption going on
This is cute for first world countries with the infrastructure and political stability in place, how does this work for people hiding in jungles and mountains as they try to escape cruel regimes? Hostile occupied territories? Countries with extreme corruption amongst public servants?the choice could have been a similar to the "be careful what you ask for" mantra which addresses all those underlying problems that lead to world hunger. on the other hand, ending world hunger could be something as simple as a guaranteed public service that provides 3 meals a day.
Here you go again with the name calling.......that's strike two! Starvation is allowed to happen, it's not a natural occurrence and can be prevented. Miss me with that well being of others non sense. It's not a serious thread and made for jokes but if you trying to pull in real word factors and shyt stop being willfully ignorant and educate yourself and not just be in here about feelings. Call me out my name again and I have to block you on principle........lucky you. Calling yourself Umoja and out here behaving as such........3 million children die due starvation each year.
Some of you are either too retarded to realise that starvation is not dependent on a shortage of food, or you're the same type of scum causing the problem (putting your greed ahead of the wellbeing of others).

So yes, you expect hunger games style airdrops in a daily basis to all the people in war torn and corrupted areas.drones, they delivering medicine with drones in some african countries. ukraine delivering supplies to the frontlines with drones too. we have the technology and the money but not the political will.
we don't even need human operators at this point.
