Also, every black person needs to join an organization and be an active participant. If you're in here talmbout what needs to be done and you havne't joined an organization to actually help, then you're part of the problem

word, a few years ago i visited haiti (maybe a year before the earthquake) and eventhough the country is messed up in many ways, it still felt good. gave me a sense of where i come from, it was really a trip to step out the plane and only see people that look like me.
i'm about to spit some real shyt and y'all might neg it but fukk it. We need to work on our customer service skills more. You felt like the manager was giving you an attitude and i've felt that way too at times. Funny thing is, i think it's more a temperament thing and she didnt necessarily mean to. we need to get away from that stereotype of black businesses having attitude when dealing with customers. Now i'm not saying we should adopt "white" temperaments or speak like them. And i'm not saying we need to be fake either what i'm saying is if we need to, we need to find other ways to connect with the clients. how much of it is real and how much is an exaggerated stereotype? no idea...I just found out last week that we have a black owned bank in Detroit, went and moved all my accounts there

changed once she seen that cashier check.
Blacks gotta get rid of that Willie lynch mentality and it won't be easy. To much hating and nobody trust each other. Farrakhan spoke here a few months ago and talked about how every citizen in Detroit need to donate a few dollars to a fund, so we can revitalize our own communities. Of course nikkas in the streets was talking about who gonna be in charge of it. They gonna steal all the money and blah blah blah.
y'all might think it's insignificant but i swear if that would have happened to me (taking my money to a bank and they give me an attitude) it would have been an instant turnoff and i would have taken my business elsewhere.

real talk. i've conversed with many white people that start their own non profits. the legal side of it is a little tricky but it's all based on technicalities and working the system (amurkkka the beautiful...). if you've got a sound message you can do anything in this country. support - for sure. but start your own
