Well, I started a Black business. But y'all see how that goes in here.![]()
Failures?no offense but your shyt wasn't the most positive, breh. and i've talked to you face to face. you're a smart guy. success is about moving past failures.

Failures?
I'm doing fine, breh. My company is stronger than ever. It's just sad to see my peers be such virulent haters.
Ungrateful, too. I must have sent out a dozen free shirts to Coli members and I've only received one shout out on social media. One picture. That's it. One recipient had the nerve to tell me that I sent them the wrong free shirt. Like
Honestly, I'm not even going to go into the offline shenanigans I've run into trying to work with many of my Black peers. Just the online bullsh!t is enough to make any man go "Hmmm…"

you still got some free viral marketing tees? i'll rock something like that during my next few stand-up sets. You didn't hear any bad reviews. You saw some stupid troll sh!t and you ran with it.my bad. i was misinformed. i thought that joint flopped, breh.
last i heard about it was some bad reviews so i made an assumption

Sorry, but I'm sooo done giving away tees to Coli members. Y'all know nothing about establishing solid relationships.
Won't even give out first names and what not. Sorry, I can't be giving away free product to faceless, nameless trolls.

It's a shame, too. Even after all this time I still get nothing but shade from a good lot of Black people.
It's like many of us can't stand to see examples of ourselves that buck the trends and deviate from the unfortunate norms that we've been conditioned to accept.

I'm cool with the LGBT community. I've caught heat for sticking up for gay rights and for denouncing homophobia on here. Hell, there's plenty of LGBT people rocking my gear on Instagram.it's the ole boy LBJ. if that's what it's about PM me, breh. i'm waiting on bidness cards and trying to build my own site. that's if your business doesnt mind a queer doin free promo. i still eat at chik-fil-a, ya dig?
Thanks about the Around the way app. That will be critical. I need to talk to the webmaster of that app to integrate it into our site.
Repatriate back to Africa
I honestly think if we had a progm like the Jews where you can visit say a African country for free and learn about your culture and heritage would help tremendously
Let us know about the site, I might donate to it, if it's legit.
You would have to offer something to countries, in exchange for that. For example, you and 3000 other people offer a city 1mil for school funding, while the city will provide your group with subsidized lodging fees of you guys visit. It's a good idea, but w have to offer Africa something, if we want something in place like Israel.

i'm about to spit some real shyt and y'all might neg it but fukk it. We need to work on our customer service skills more. You felt like the manager was giving you an attitude and i've felt that way too at times. Funny thing is, i think it's more a temperament thing and she didnt necessarily mean to. we need to get away from that stereotype of black businesses having attitude when dealing with customers. Now i'm not saying we should adopt "white" temperaments or speak like them. And i'm not saying we need to be fake either what i'm saying is if we need to, we need to find other ways to connect with the clients. how much of it is real and how much is an exaggerated stereotype? no idea...
y'all might think it's insignificant but i swear if that would have happened to me (taking my money to a bank and they give me an attitude) it would have been an instant turnoff and i would have taken my business elsewhere.
