Even if the Magic win game one, I still don't see them beating The Rockets.
The Rockets were a far more experienced team than the Magic.
Shaq wasn't better than Hakeem
Horry was far too clutch
Nobody was checking Clyde
Sam Cassell was a pivotal bench player, floor general
That's hindsight 20/20 imo. You know how it played out. But the magic looked dominant in game 1. I remember nikkas at one point in that game saying it would be torture to make Houston go thru that shyt 3 more times.
And remember. These nikkas knocked off MJ. Until that loss they feared no one.
A team that young. Confidence was everything. It's the way they lost that sunk them; shyt, Indiana put worse beatings on them in the conf. finals and they bounced back.
They win that game? I think they would have pulled that series out. Houston might've took a few games. But up until those free throws that magic team was unflappable.
