I was wondering the same thing. You can't just unsub espn. People who don't watch sports are dropping cable...that's where the numbers are coming from.

Well, Verizon Fios is offering TV packages without ESPN or any sports channels now. :ld:

These days, I see more content being published with errors than I have in the past. Not even grammatical errors only either. I'm talking errors in content as well. It's apparent that the aim now is to get your content out as fast as possible and then correct errors rather than getting everything in order before publishing. :francis:

So many news websites are unreadable now because of this. :francis:

I've been to the houses of cord cutters and all the fukkboy shyt they have to go thru to fire up programming, especially live programming, isn't worth it IMO. The dependence on so many others for passwords to various subscriptions is annoying - or else they pay for all these subscriptions which by the time you add it to your internet bill you're paying the same as you would with a cable/internet bundle. When cord cutting becomes more convenient, I'll consider it, but at the moment, $99/month for cable, internet, the expanded sports channels, HD, and hbo isn't hurting my pockets.

Why do everyone on espn basically have they own show and 95% of them are trash

U want sports radio listening to mad dog radio minus Stephen A show

Then look at the shows... Mike and Mike is on for 4 hours and every hour it's the same topic they discuss in the first hour of the show.... Then u have to hear Greenberg talk about the jets... Dude be talking about them like the some 4,5, 6 time champions

Then u have first take.... Stephen A always on some black athletes stay off the weed and white players need a second chance rant..... skip writes the topic of the show so that's why u see constant talk of the cowboys, nfc east, LeBron choking, New England patriots talk and Tebow

His and hers is ok

Bomani, lebatard and papi are good...

Cornhieser and wilbon is not bad.... Tony is cool cause he doesn't dikk ride athletes

Sports center a joke....

you gonna need to pay to use those apps :stopitslime:

but yeah, the ISP costs are too hight. Cable wont die, they just becoming internet companies now. The thing is, those can be competitive but no one wants to permit that.

People are awake to the fact that ESPN lacks true credible sports journalism. Watching an episode of Sportscenter is like watching Entertainment Tonight with forced pop culture quotables and coverage of the same few sports figures.

There are so many other outlets now if you want real journalism and not just talking heads pandering for ratings. (FSN, NFL Network, podcasts, etc.)

30 for 30 is the best thing ESPN has going for itself these days.
i usually dont work on Monday like that so last week I woke up and caught the 9am SportsCenter
yooooo! they got a chick who strictly there to report the social media news :deadmanny:

its crazy tho, cause i know alotta you was probably just like me back in the day
get up, iron your clothes for school etc etc all while SportsCenter plays in the background

now i could give a fukk about the shyt

my WATCH gives me more info on sports than SC :mjlol:

:ohhh:

Word? So you can watch live games from ESPN/Abc on this?

Yup. I'm not 100% sure about ABC because local channels aren't available in all markets but we get ABC/FOX/NBC in Houston. They don't offer CBS yet, but you can always just get an HD antenna to get local channels if they're not available on Vue.

espn is a joke of a company now. they have horrible talent, no in-depth analysis or insight, no integrity with reporting/breaking news, lackluster and boring shows and just a non-innovative company the past several years.

they should've created their own subscription service but fell behind the curve with that because they wanted to get hollywood and do award shows, game shows (stump the schwab and dream job) and create original TV shows with 30 for 30 and the life being the only good quality show and they canned the life :snoop: (as a youngin i guess madden nation was enjoyable). they tried making a cellphone with no direct telecomm contract provider and that flopped immediately when they should've focused on creating their own media box to create a direct to consumer product. the tv model is outdated and even tho i hate seeing ppl lose jobs, thank god it's going down hill. hopefully this shakeup will bring out some new innovation or up-to-date business model.

So you don't need a netflix, prime, or hulu account to use it on Roku? It just gives you free access? :usure:

Or did you mean pay to download the apps onto the tv? If that's what you meant, nah.
