it didn't say it was always beating FT, but in instances, it has. could be due to timing - that's lunch time on the east coast and still early enough on the west coast that people might be watching before work/class. also, being that they cover the same topics, are less polarizing, and follow FT, it's easy to see how some people might have converted to skipping FT in favor for one hour of NNL
You my homie, but it's hard to believe NNL is rated higher.

it's a younger demo, kids are home during the summer and/or college kids watch during the school year.

First Take is like the old dude in the club trying to stay "hip"
NNL isn't a bad show, they just need that strong personality.Show seems like MIke&Jemele are just having personal convo.Good point about kids being home.

If you click that link in the story about NNL beating FT in the ratings, it says no such thing:what:

If you’re scoring at home, the First Take averaged a .30 in October (350k viewers). Just looking at Monday and Tuesday ratings for Numbers Never Lie over the last month, the show is getting a .24 (273k viewers). Over the same time period, Mike & Mike is getting a .20 (235k viewers).

FT beats both Mike and Mike and NNL. Maybe NNL beats FT a few days during the weeks after the NBA finals and before NFL. I could see SAS leaving though. He already left ESPN radio for Sirius. If Fox gets that NBA package, i could see them throwing a boat load of money at him to be their NBA team with Woj but until then NNL just doesn't get the buzz that FT gets good or bad especially with all the pro athletes...
