I watch nba tv almost EVERY day during the NBA season and there's not too many dudes they have on there that make me wanna turn it off.

The peak of first take was in 2011 because of Tebowmania and Lebron being fresh off that horrible showing in the finals.

Now, Tebow's out the league and Lebron got two chips and it hasn't been nearly as interesting since. I think Linsanity was in early 2012 too so they had to feed off of

this is when i stopped watching.

the show became too redundant and about nothing.

the personalities carry the show. it'll be interesting to see what happens if SAS jumps ship next year.

Stephen A Smith is still tied to ESPN in the radio business. ESPN produces his SIRIUS radio show. And you people are fools if you think ESPN is getting rid of First Take. First Take is Espn's crown jewel when it comes to sports shows (I'm talking about talking head format). ESPN gonna pay whatever to keep Stephen A also. John Skipper who is head of ESPN is a big fan of Stephen A. Stephen A nor First Take is going anywhere.

Numbers Never Lie needs a new 3rd host bad. It's needs a strong personality. Jemele (let's be serious no one wants to hear from her) and Michael Smith have dry personalities. Their show is produced like it's a college sports show in a dorm room, where two college kids argue with each other.

It's funny because Stephen A goes on and on about how big time First Take is...and I don't know anyone who really watches it like that...

After they castrated stephen A I just completely stopped watching it all together...I will only watch it on Mondays during football season going forward
