Even after removing the Kinect & lowering price, XB1 Sales still slow. Time for M$ to scrap Xbox?

Let's not be prisoners of the moment,
Yes the PS4 is outselling the X1 3:1 last time I checked.

However the Xbone is at the same time selling better that the 360 in the same time period 8 years ago

Fact is both consoles (with the PS4 leading) are breaking console sales records so far.

So it really is a win win for very real gamer and a stab in the neck for every fool claiming mobile n PC is the future.

i stand by my original assessment of the xbox one. its a grown man's system. PS4 is an everyone else system + a grown man gamer's system. this is why the sells may never come close. especially since ps4 had the head start with the much cheaper console(kids console, broke college age dudes) & the DRM scare aka followers gone follow even after they shut all of that down the youth movement ran to the PS4 because of it. (kids + broke college student, and a few super gamer old heads were the ones going nuts about DRM).

the problem M$ is having now is that PS4 has saturated the market. it means if i'm 16 yrs old. and i dont have a new gen system yet. how will i decide on which one to get? they all have pretty much the same Top games on them. except for a few different exclusives. shoot, even some of the exclusives arent really exclusives. they are just timed exclusives(ps4 gets it first, xbox later, box first, ps later)

So my decision is now made with who i will be playing with online and possibly borrowing games from a friend. guess which console my friends already have based on the above info? PS4. so guess which system i'm going to get? the PS4. its a no brainer

if i was 20 or younger. i know for a fact i would've been all over that PS4. But since i'm not dying for cash, and my parents no longer by me big gifts for christmas. I can choose my consoles purely based on what i believe to be best value. To me. its that XBOX ONE. and i have yet to see anything prove that to be incorrect. now what might happen if the sales stay like they are is XBOX goes bye bye. and i have to get down..or lay down, and hop back on that station. i hope that wont happen. but its possible. If so, it is, what it is. but i wont be happy about it.

This is like me saying the PS3 was the "grown mans" system because it cost $600 and came with a blu-ray player. Fact remains is MS released a weaker console for the $100 more, added to the fact of the DRM shyt that was out there. Microsoft was sitting pretty going into this generation and now they're fighting for 2nd place with the Wii U

The Xbox One initially having Kinect in the box means you cannot label it as a grown man's console. Microsoft making that decision means that they definitely had plans for the console to have its fair share of software tailored towards kids and casual gamers.

no you're wrong. the ps3 was Almost the grown man's system. for example, i was pushing people to buy that system and i didnt even buy it myself in the end.

the reason i was pushing it was because it had a blu-ray player while blu-ray were sky high in price. i said no matter how you slice it. you will come up on top with a PS3 if you are a serious movie watcher that is into high quallity video(you have a nice HD TV). you might as well get that blu-ray player that also doubles as a gaming system. and lasty, the fact its connected to the internet means its firmware will get constant updates. so even when the blu-ray specs change from disc to disc..year to year. you will always be up to date. and i was right.

me personally i realized i watch flicks. but not like that. i dont buy dvds, therefore i surely wont be buying Blu-rays.
if i watch something. i'm watching it on cable on demand in HD(no worries about my internet being fast enough at the time i'm watching). now that stupid time warner has finally upped my internet speed to something legit. i can stream my HD movies via my xbox without having to bring my laptop into the living room. its already a go.

again, the xbox one was this consoles GROWN MAN system. "XBOX ON" thats on some grown man stuff. kids dont care about that stuff. they want games, games and more games. and thats ll they want. remember all the complaints about xbox's first showing "where da games at?" i was watching that same footage thinking "wow this is nice."
thats cause i'm a grown a... man. So i dont need 100 games that i would never finish. I need a few solid games. and i'm good. so that means for me to shell out 400 you need to come with the features(xbox kinect...fitness) uh oh..game changing..

you make a nice little comeback. i'll give you that. the problem is. thats not the truth. they actually didnt want a ton of kiddie games and thats it with the kinect. they would LIKE for the grown man studios to jump on board. but they refuse. they think its a kiddy/party game gimmick. But its not. That xbox fitness proves its not just some kiddie gimmick.
